Howard Appel has been the co-commissioner of his fantasy football league for 15 years and has published more than 50 articles on the subject of fantasy football on various Internet sites.

He is currently Associate Editor for the Fantasy Football Journal website, on which he co-hosts a weekly Internet radio show during the football season, providing coaching advice to listeners. He is also a member of the Fantasy Sports Writers' Association (FSWA).

His love for both writing and the hobby of fantasy football made this project, his first book, the ideal venture. Raised in New Jersey, Howard Appel now lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife and two children.
