The Moores were living the American dream-two beautiful children, a lovely home, and a close and intimate family life. Their elder daughter, Tara, developed a fascination with angels. Kirk Moore's spiritual journey began when he had a near-death experience at the age of nine. For many years he was puzzled by this extraordinary occurrence, but he had a deep inner knowing that its meaning would be revealed to him in time.

Drawn to family life from an early age, Kirk married and was totally devoted to his wife, Sandy, and their two daughters. When tragedy struck, it was his firm faith in God and his knowledge that life does not end with death that made it possible for him to listen to the inner guidance that led him to fulfill his purpose here on earth. Tara's Angels is Kirk Moore's affirmation that life is an interconnected whole and that we have the opportunity to learn and grow from all that happens to us.

Kirk, who recently became a minister in the Church of Religious Science, Sandy (who is now the Reverend Sandy Moore, founding minister of the Center for Universal Truth, a New Thought spiritual community), and their daughter Deanna first began to spread their message of love and faith through the Tara's Angels store in San Juan Capistrano, California.

They also conduct lectures and workshops worldwide, helping people to awaken their intuition and to shere their filmed story, "Angels: The Mysterious Messengers," which was viewed by over 35 million people. Today, Kirk, who is the co-founder of the Center for Universal Truth, serves as its staff minister and musical director.
